Jeffery Rogador is a well known Filipino fashion designer, you can see his works in Philippine Fashion Week, he also have different events showcasing his talent.

One of his works that really struck me was his collection for Philippine Fashion Week Holiday 2015. (here are some photos from his collection) His collection was one of a kind. Its an RTW collection which; he usually does. His collection is very simple but still its an eye catching show. He really did showed the audience that his works "represent" the Philippines, it may not be be typical Barong (for men) and Filipiniana (for women) clothes but instead he decided to print different places in Metro Manila. I have never seen any designer who had the same idea and manage to made it as good as what Rogador did. It didn't look weird but the words made it more interesting. His silhouettes are simple but the color pallet was very cohesive that made his whole collection more attractive. Its not a typical design but as a Filipino many people could wear this. He also made a collaboration for FnH.

Jerry Rogador also also made a coat and slax that was full of places in Metro Manila. He made the outfit extraordinary. Some Designer would just create statement shirts but what jeffery did he made it look like an street art but without the pictures.

Seeing his whole collection made me think about the Jeepney that we have or let me say the only country that owns/have a Jeepney. as for me I only learned riding the Jeepney this college, maybe thats why I was able to appreciate his work; I got the chance to experience riding it from one place to another. Every place here in Metro Manila is accessible through jeepnies, I can't clarify to you that his inspiration was the Jeepney itself, as a Fashion Design student I can see that it is one of his inspiration, firstly because The Philippines is the only country that owns a Jeepney, Secondly he wanted to showcase The Philippines not through our basic Filipiniana and Barong next he wanted to show how creative a Filipino Designer can be, how we Filipino's can think outside the box and create clothes that are out of the ordinary and he is indeed proud to be a Filipino.
